Remote Communications Intern (Volunteer/Internship Role)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To support ENM’s mission by developing and managing strategic communication materials and digital content that engage audiences, inspire partnerships, and communicate the impact of the Gospel work globally. Embracing the Nations Ministries (ENM) is Impacting Communities with combined Christian Ministry through partnerships with individuals, organizations and churches. We are looking for a creative, committed, and tech-savvy Communications Intern to join our global mission team!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, writing, and dissemination of monthly newsletters.
- Manage and grow ENM’s social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Create and schedule digital content to highlight ENM’s activities, impact stories, and events.
- Support email marketing campaigns and partner communications.
- Design basic visual and promotional materials (e.g., flyers, banners, brochures).
- Maintain and update ENM’s digital content repository and online presence.
- Contribute to storytelling and impact documentation from mission fields and partner initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Passionate about Christian missions and global evangelism.
- Skilled in writing, storytelling, and digital communication.
- Familiar with graphic design, content creation and scheduling tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
- Active on social media with a good understanding of engagement strategies.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn, take iniritiative and adapt to a fast-paced ministry setting.
- Integrity, creativity and a heart for service.
- Open to feedback and eager to grow in a collaborative ministry environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media, Theology, or a related field.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Access to a reliable internet connection and digital working tools.
- Prior volunteering experience with a Christian ministry or mission organization is an added advantage.
